Secluded and self guided. Launch your own canoe or kayak from the dock at Cedar Creek, just off Arner Townline (County Road 23). Paddle from Cedar Creek to Cedar Beach in just over an hour and enjoy breathtaking views of Carolinian woodlands, landscapes dotted with rare flora and fauna, and abundant wildlife. Remember to bring your binoculars!
Colchester Beach is adjacent to a Pirate Ship Playground and Splash Pad at the top of the bluff. Borrow a volleyball from the harbour kiosk and spend some time spiking balls over the beachside nets. When it's time to refuel, cool down at Beachside Eats and Treats or head up the hill to a pub or restaurant.
For a second splash pad experience, head over to the Harrow and Colchester South Community Centre. The splash pad is located beside a new play structure that is perfect for small children.
